Witch's Brew!
by Fraser and Sam
There are seven orders to complete, can you complete them all? There's some hints and tips down below, but try it yourself first and see if you can figure it out :)
Everything is drag and drop with your mouse. This is our first time publishing a game and all design, programming, art and sound was done by us.
Except for this lovely brick wall we used as the background: https://cat-sopelka.itch.io/dungeon-brick-wall
Hints and Tips
- Put the ingredients in the pot to mix colours and match them to the order on the paper.
- Stir the pot to combine the ingredients.
- You may need to try stirring the other way!
- The last order will require some out-of-the-box thinking ;)

Here’s the thing: most of the time, the potion phases out and I get softlocked due to it.
Hmm could you explain more? Whenever the potion is gone it should spawn another one a few seconds later, sometimes depending on how the potion disappears it could take like... 8 seconds to spawn a new one.
Here’s what happened.
Basically I was into further levels, when I accidentally stuck the potion into the cauldron and I couldn’t get it back so I had to reset. It doesn’t need much to be replicated, just get the vial on one of the cauldron’s sides and you got the glitch.
Thanks a lot :) I will take a look at this in the morning before the deadline.
Also, thanks for playing!
You’re welcome, I just finished the game :3
Congrats! No spoilers but I think the last order is either very obvious or very hard depending on the person. Well done :)
I've had a few comments about the flask disappearing into the pot in various ways, it should be harder to do that now. It's a janky fix but I think it's a better kind of jank than the previous potential soft-lock and it's all I have time for today. Thanks for your help diagnosing :)
